چکیده
This article reports world averages for measurements on b-hadron properties obtained by the Heavy Flavor Averaging Group (HFAG) using the available results as of summer 2004 conferences. In the averaging, the input parameters used in the various analyses are adjusted (rescaled) to common values, and all known correlations are taken into account. The averages include b-hadron lifetimes, B-oscillation (mixing) parameters, semileptonic decay parameters, rare decay branching fractions, and CP violation measurements. * The members of the HFAG and those involved in the subgroup activities are:

متن کاملMixing and Searches for CP Violation: HFAG Combination of all Data
We present world average values for D-D mixing parameters x and y, CP violation parameters |q/p| and Arg(q/p), and strong phase differences δ and δKππ . These values are calculated by the Heavy Flavor Averaging Group (HFAG) by performing a global fit to relevant experimental measurements. The results for x and y differ significantly from zero and are inconsistent with no mixing at the level of ...
متن کاملHFAG Charm Mixing Averages
Almost since the discovery of charm mesons, mixing of D −D 0 mesons have been sought in analogy to the well-known K−K 0 mixing. Due to very effective GIM suppression, the expected mixing rate in the charm system is much smaller than for kaons. Only very recently, the BaBar [1] and Belle [2] collaborations have reported the first evidence of charm mixing. These results have renewed the interest ...
متن کاملD -D mixing at BABAR
This article reviews the recent measurement of D-D mixing with the D → Kπ decay channel from the BABAR experiment at the PEP-II B-Factory. Averages from the Heavy Flavor Averaging Group btween this result and a previous result from BELLE are also presented.
